The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) Education Centre and school buildings will join other Ontario government buildings and establishments in flying the Canadian flag at half-mast on Thursday, June 11, in observance of the late OPP Constable Tarun Bali, who passed away in the line of duty on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The flag will be flown at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral, Thursday, June 18, 2026.
